Brienne M. Letourneau, partner in the Litigation Department and based in Chicago, has been named to Chicago Lawyer’s 40 Under 40 list.  The annual list, published by Chicago Lawyer and Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, highlights “40 of the most talented young attorneys working in Illinois.” More than 1000 nominations were received for the 2022 list. Those selected are commended for their “intelligence, passion, success in the office, a desire to help the community, and a willingness to work hard at one of the country’s most important professionals.”

The profile of Brienne highlights her recent work representing fiduciaries and service providers facing breach-of-fiduciary duty claims, with her defense ensuring that these clients can continue doing business uninterrupted. It notes that she has also obtained favorable results for clients facing consumer class action claims.

Brienne’s pro bono work and commitment to community is also lauded, including recent pro bono wins for organizations that promote gender equality, such as the National Women’s Law Center and the TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund. The profile notes that she served for many years on the board of directors for Victory Gardens Theater in Chicago.  

Brienne’s profile also includes comments from clients and former colleagues.
