Global Competition Review (GCR), the leading competition law and policy publisher and news service, included Willkie’s Brussels Antitrust and Competition team among its list of recommended firms in its survey of the city’s top competition practices. Noting that Brussels “exists at the centre of Europe’s competition landscape, vying with Washington, DC as the world’s elite antitrust bar,” the survey recognizes those firms who are “best placed to lead the hardest work heading through Brussels.”
GCR’s commentary on Willkie cites several of the team’s recent high-profile matters, including guiding the €3.4 billion Orange/Jazztel deal through EU merger control following a Phase II review, as well as CMA CGM’s €2.6 billion buyout of Singapore-based Nol.
