Brussels partner Xavier Dieux was profiled in the Flemish journal DE TIJD as the best M&A lawyer in Belgium. The honor is the result of a survey completed by over 300 Belgian corporate lawyers. The in-depth profile, entitled “Xavier Dieux beste advocaat in fusies en overnames,” notes that Mr. Dieux is currently a highly regarded Professor of Law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and discusses some of his notable matters, including his roles in the landmark delisting of Companie Nationale à Portefuille, the restructuring of Ageas Group and in the sale of Fortis to BNP Paribas. It also highlights his role as regular counsel to construction group CFE and real estate developer Immobel.
