Partner Thomas Henry was profiled as part of Law360’s “Rising Stars” series, which features top legal talent under 40. After a formal nomination and selection process conducted by a team of eight Law 360 editors, involving more than 1000 candidates, Mr. Henry was one of only five attorneys nationwide to be named “Rising Star” in the area of Real Estate. Law360 notes that “winners were based on the strength of their accomplishments in their respective practice groups thus far in their careers.”

The profile, published on March 20, lauds Mr. Henry for having “mastered real estate’s boom-and-bust cycle.” Law360 highlights some of Mr. Henry’s most notable achievements, including his representation of The Mills Corp. in its $7.9 billion buyout by a joint venture between Simon Property Group Inc. and funds managed by Farallon Capital Management LLC, and his recent representation of Sunrise Senior Living, Inc. in a $435 million commercial mortgage-backed securities loan — one of the largest CMBS loan transactions of 2011.
