Latinvex –Latin America News and Analysis has named partner Maria-Leticia Ossa Daza as one of “Latin America’s Top 100 Female Lawyers” in its 2017 ranking, recognizing Ms. Ossa Daza for excellence in the categories of banking & finance and corporate/M&A. Ms. Ossa Daza has consistently been named by Latinvex among Latin American’s Top 100 Female lawyers since 2014.
Latinvex developed this year’s ranking by looking at 100 law firms, and selected its top 100 attorneys from 57 different firms based in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and the Cayman Islands. Criteria for selection include an attorney’s recent track record on major deals and business, prominence of the firm in Latin America, and recognition from various third-party sources. Attorneys were selected for their preeminence in arbitration/litigation, banking/finance, capital markets, corporate/M&A, energy, FCPA & fraud, mining and project finance.
