Matthew Feldman, Co-Chairman of the Business Reorganization and Restructuring Department, was recognized as an “Outstanding Restructuring Lawyer – 2014” by Turnarounds & Workouts magazine. Mr. Feldman was one of only 12 lawyers nationwide selected for recognition by the leading industry publication.
He was recognized for successfully steering Momentive Performance Materials through its chapter 11 case “extremely quickly while obtaining favorable resolution of cutting edge, highly contested matters such as intercreditor agreement enforcement, makewhole provisions, vote changes, and cram-down rates.” Momentive exited bankruptcy just six months after filing. He was also cited for his work on behalf of Rural/Metro and 65 affiliates in a prenegotiated chapter 11 plan.
Honorees are selected by Turnarounds and Workouts' editorial staff based upon recent representations and achievements, and from nominations received from leading restructuring professionals nationwide.
Mr. Feldman was previously honored by Turnarounds & Workouts as an “Outstanding Restructuring Lawyer” in 2009 and was recently profiled by Law360 as an MVP in the area of Bankruptcy.
