Mark A. Vandehaar is a partner in the Asset Management Group, representing a variety of investment advisers, hedge funds, private equity funds and family offices. He specializes in advising hedge and private equity fund managers in connection with complex corporate transactions as well as on regulatory, compliance and operational matters. Mark also has extensive experience representing investment advisers on matters of SEC and CFTC registration and regulatory compliance.

Mark regularly represents some of the most prominent hedge fund sponsors as well as a broad range of other investment management clients in connection with all aspects of their business. He also often represents institutional investors in the acquisition of positions in hedge funds, private equity funds and venture capital funds and the negotiation of seed capital arrangements and joint ventures. Mark has represented numerous fund managers in connection with the establishment of management companies and the successful launch of hedge funds and private equity funds.
