Richard L. Reinhold is a partner and Chair of Willkie’s Tax Department. Rick’s practice includes domestic and international business tax matters relative to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investment funds, corporate restructurings, and financing transactions.
Chambers USA (2014) ranks Rick among the leading individuals practicing Tax Law in New York. He has also been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America, Who's Who Legal, Euromoney Guide to the World’s Leading Tax Lawyers, and New York magazine’s "Best Lawyers in New York."

Rick is a former Chair of the New York State Bar Association (Tax Section) and has been a member of its Executive Committee since 1985. He is a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel, a member of the Board of Advisors of the New York University School of Law International Tax Program, and a member of the Tax Forum and Tax Club.
Rick is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the New York University School of Law. Additionally, he has lectured and written widely on federal income tax matters.
