Stephen W. Greiner is general counsel to Willkie Farr & Gallagher. Previously he had been a partner in the Litigation Department and Co-Chair of the firm’s Securities Litigation & Enforcement Practice Group. Stephen has specialized in complex commercial litigation; securities litigation and SEC enforcement matters; corporate governance litigation and counseling; intellectual property litigation; and internal investigations.
Prior to joining Willkie in 1972, Stephen served as Law Clerk to Judge Frederick van Pelt Bryan, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York (1968-1970). He also served as Assistant to Independent Counsel Arthur H. Christy, who investigated the conduct of Hamilton Jordan, adviser to President Jimmy Carter (1980).
Stephen is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Among others, he has served on the Federal Legislation and Legal Education and Admissions Committees.
