Overview

Opened in 2014, Willkie’s Houston office extends the Firm’s prominent corporate, private equity, M&A, finance, corporate governance and restructuring practices to clients in the region that focus on investments in energy, infrastructure, industrial and manufacturing, financial services and other sectors. The Houston office’s lawyers leverage the integrated capabilities of the Firm to provide representation across a broad range of sophisticated transactions.

Houston is home to Willkie’s Energy & Utilities practice which focuses on helping solve the complex needs of a wide variety of energy clients, from traditional energy & utilities (including the full oil & gas value chain, energy services and conventional power) to clients who are shifting to new energy sources (including wind, solar, storage and other clean energy). Willkie has deep experience in the energy space, and in 2020 co-founded REAL (Renewable Energy Alliance) Houston, an alliance that aims to promote regional renewable energy industry and advance Houston’s clean energy future in energy transition.

Willkie also supports a range of charitable organizations and pro bono efforts and is committed to the Houston community.
