Mr. Cosenza is one of six attorneys nationwide named as an MVP in the area of Banking.
Litigation partner Todd Cosenza was profiled for Law360’s 2017 MVP series as one of only six attorneys nationwide to be recognized in the Banking category.
Mr. Cosenza is lauded for his significant victories on behalf of several banking institutions, including for Barclays Bank in MBI International Holdings Inc. v. Barclays Bank PLC. Law360 highlights that Mr. Cosenza “has had another year of successes representing high-profile financial institutions, including foiling a multibillion-dollar case against Barclays at New York’s highest court.” The article continues “Cosenza successfully represented Barclays in the matter not only at the trial court level in 2015, but at the intermediate appellate level last winter and at the New York Court of Appeals this summer.” Mr. Cosenza told Law360 that the appellate battles this year, coupled with the complications of an international banking case, made the win a “satisfying achievement” and that he was happy to achieve the “right result for a client.”
Mr. Cosenza stated that his work in the banking sector has been “very challenging and rewarding.” When asked what motivates him, he replied “I like the challenge of dealing with knotty problems and thinking of creative solutions to problems.”
