Willkie represents E2open and Zyme in the combination, which creates the world’s largest operating network for manufacturing supply chain and sales operations.

On November 6, E2open, the largest and most comprehensive supply chain operating network, announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Zyme, the leader in channel data management (CDM). Willkie represented E2open and Zyme, both portfolio companies of Insight Venture Partners, in the transaction. The combination creates the world’s largest operating network for manufacturing, supply chain and sales operations.

E2open is powered by the world’s largest direct business network and a broad portfolio of next generation solutions. Zyme provides the leading CDM cloud platform, delivering critical downstream visibility for global companies that leverage distributors, retailers, e-tailers and resellers to sell their products. The combination is expected to provide global manufacturers with unprecedented visibility and control of their manufacturing and sales operations.

Willkie represented Insight Venture Partners in its 2015 acquisition of E2open and in its April 2017 acquisition of Zyme. The firm also represented E2open in its 2017 acquisition of Steelwedge and 2016 acquisition of Orchestro.

The Willkie deal team for the current transaction was led by partners Gordon Caplan and Morgan Elwyn and included associates Sarah Wong, Victoria Rosales, Kurt Lyn and Frances Dales.
