A cross-border, multidisciplinary Willkie deal team represents PAI Partners in the sale of ADB Safegate to The Carlyle Group.

On July 14, Willkie’s longtime client PAI Partners announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement with The Carlyle Group for the sale of ADB Safegate, a leading global airport performance solutions provider.

Willkie advised PAI Partners in 2013 on the acquisition of ADB from Montagu Private Equity, and also advised PAI Partners and ADB on the acquisition of Safegate from Fairford Group in 2016.

Willkie’s cross-border, multidisciplinary team was led by partner Christophe Garaud in Paris, and included Paris: national partner Gabriel Flandin and associates Liza Scemama, Marion Bellemin, Ilan Aboukrat and Mathilde Saltiel; Frankfurt: partner Mario Schmidt, and national partner Axel Wahl; Brussels: national partner Didier Willermain and associates Diego Lambrecht and Zoé Janssen and New York: associates Vanida Narrainen and Peter Melampy.
