A cross-border, multidisciplinary Willkie deal team represents Castik Capital on the completion of its acquisition of the Brussel-based provider of transportation management software and freight exchange solutions.

Willkie client Castik Capital recently completed its acquisition of the transport services unit of Wolters Kluwer (“Transport Services”). Based in Brussels, Transport Services is a leading player in transportation management software and freight exchange solutions. The company provides on-demand transport management software and services for all transport and logistics professionals. It is one of the few providers meeting the needs of a diverse customer base, ranging from carriers to freight forwarders and logistics providers to shippers.

In May, Willkie represented Castik Capital in its acquisition of inet logistics, a rapidly growing software-as-a-service provider of transportation management systems for complex, global transportation networks. Together inet logistics, Transwide, Teleroute and 123cargo/Bursa will form a global logistics software group.

The cross-border, multidisciplinary Willkie deal team comprised: Frankfurt – national partners Dr. Axel Wahl and Dr. Bettina Bokeloh, and associates Andreas Knödler, Johannes Eckhardt, Karsten Silbernagel, Dr. Stefan Bührle and Carolin Götz; Brussels – partners Susanne Zuehlke and Xavier Dieux, national partner Didier Willermain, and associates Philipp Heuser, Zoè Janssen, Diego Lambrecht; Paris – associates Virginie Sayag and Alexis Bessis; Milan – associate Federica Pecorini; and New York – partner Christopher Peters and associate Erin Kinney.
