Ardian will acquire lighting fixture provider SLV from Cinven.

On October 28, Willkie client Ardian announced its agreement with Cinven to acquire SLV, a provider of lighting fixtures for residential and commercial space.

Founded more than 35 years ago and headquartered in Übach-Palenberg, Germany, SLV has experienced significant growth over the past decades and became a leading provider of lighting fixtures in its core markets. With the support of Ardian, SLV intends to continuously innovate its diversified product portfolio, strengthen its market-leading position in Germany, further develop its international footprint and exploit opportunities related to digitalization and online sales channels.

Ardian is an independent private investment company with $60 billion in assets managed or advised in Europe, North America and Asia. Cinven is an international private equity firm focused on building world-class European and global companies.
