Ekkio portfolio company Amatsigroup acquired the provider of process development and biomanufacturing services.
On January 25, Amatsigroup, a portfolio company of Ekkio, announced its acquisition of Q-Biologicals, a leading provider of process development and biomanufacturing services. Willkie advised Ekkio and Amatsigroup in connection with the acquisition.
Founded in Belgium in 2011, Q-Biologicals specializes in biologicals used in therapeutics, vaccines and diagnostics services. Amatsigroup is the leading French provider of services for the development of human and veterinary pharmaceutical products. With this acquisition, Amatsigroup will expand its range of products in the biological segment and strengthen its offering to international pharmaceutical groups.
