Deal represents Insight Venture Partners’ exit from its stake in the management software company.
Willkie client Metalogix has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Permira Funds. Metalogix provides content infrastructure management software to transform collaboration platforms, increase knowledge sharing, and improve the use and performance of enterprise content management platforms. Members of Metalogix’s senior management team, including its CEO, will maintain a significant equity stake in the company. Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in 2014, were not disclosed. Upon closing, Insight Venture Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners will fully exit their stakes in Metalogix.
Partners Gordon Caplan and Matthew Guercio led the deal team, which included partners Michael Katz, Christopher Peters, counsel Jonathan Konoff, Russell Smith and Miriam Bishop and associates James Markel, Mark Myott, Amir Ghavi, Meredith Levy and Rose Ohanesian.
