Willkie represents certain members of the Hermès family (acting in private capacity) as part of the strategic and financial investor group led by Coalision’s CEO and President.

It was recently announced that a group of strategic and financial investors led by Bernard Mariette, CEO and President of women’s activewear maker Coalision Inc., acquired a majority interest in Canadian-based Coalision from Kilmer Capital Partners. The investor group includes certain members of the Hermès family (acting in private capacity), represented by Willkie, and Pelican LP, Simon Equity Partners, André Desmarais and the Fonds de solidarité FTQ. Founded in 1989, Coalision designs and distributes activewear and outdoor clothing through its Lolë and Paradox brands. Its products are distributed in over 1,700 outlets worldwide.

The deal was handled by partner Daniel Hurstel, special European counsel Brice Pommiès and associate Liza Scemama.
