Ms. Schonholtz awarded top honor at Euromoney Legal Media Group’s second annual Americas Women in Business Law Awards.
On June 5 at Euromoney Legal Media Group’s second annual Americas in Business Law Awards, partner Margot Schonholtz was presented with the honor for "Best in Insolvency & Restructuring." At a gala awards ceremony in New York City, in-house and private practice attorneys gathered to "celebrate the achievements of those firms setting the standard in terms of female-friendly work practices, and women leading the field in the legal sector across the Americas." The keynote address was delivered by Judge Kimba Wood, United states District Judge (Senior Judge), for the Southern District of New York.
After an extensive research process, winners were selected based on their professional accomplishments as well as advocacy and influence within their respective fields of practice. The awards recognize significant accomplishments in "helping women advance in the legal profession." Euromoney Legal Media Group is a leading publisher of a wide range of legal publications.
