Willkie client Kiloutou, an equipment rental company, was recently honored with a CF NEWS Award for Best External Growth in the midcap category. The award recognizes Kiloutou’s acquisition of equipment rental specialist BM Location from Group Monnoyeur, in which Willkie’s Paris office advised Kiloutou. With 600 employees in 85 branches, BM Location is the third-largest general equipment rental company in France. The acquisition significantly reinforced Kiloutou’s position within the civil engineering sector. CF NEWS is an online corporate finance publication.
The deal was handled by a multidisciplinary Willkie team, including: Corporate – partner Christophe Garaud and associates Elise Carrera, Paul Guillemin and Alexandre Avrillon; Antitrust – partner Jacques-Philippe Gunther and associates Agathe Richard and Marion Bailly and Tax – special European counsel Philippe Grudé.
