Firm represents placement agent Natixis and the City of Marseilles in the City’s successfully launched €40 million bond issue, and advises Natixis on two private placement bond issuances by Région Champagne-Ardenne.

The Paris office recently represented placement agent Natixis and the City of Marseilles in the City’s successfully launched €40 million bond issue, which was facilitated by private placement, at 3% over a 10-year period. This is the first such transaction for the City of Marseille as the private placement plan did not require the preparation of a prospectus for AMF (Autorité des marchés financiers) approval, allowing for expedited implementation.

Separately, the firm also advised Natixis with respect to Région Champagne-Ardenne’s two €15 million bond issuances, which are due in 2021 at a rate of 2.28% and in 2023 at a rate of 2.75% per annum, respectively. These transactions were also facilitated via private placement.

The deals were handled by partner Thierry Laloum and associates Iris Géniès and Alexis Grisoni. Associate Michaël Armandou also assisted on the City of Marseilles transaction.
