Firm assists the initial purchasers in the pricing of Lennar Corporation’s 144A offering of senior notes.

On February 4, Lennar Corporation announced the closing of its Rule 144A offering of $275 million principal amount of its 4.125% Senior Notes due 2018 and $175 million principal amount of its 4.750% Senior Notes due 2022. Willkie represented the initial purchasers, led by Citigroup Global Markets, Deutsche Bank Securities and J.P. Morgan Securities. Miami-based Lennar, one of the nation’s largest homebuilders, constructs affordable, move-up and retirement homes.

Willkie also recently advised the initial purchasers in Lennar’s $350 million offering of senior notes in October 2012 and in its $350 million offering of senior notes in July 2012. The current deal was handled by partners David Boston, Laura Delanoy and Leslie Mazza; of counsel Martin Miller and associates Marit Spekman, Hania Masud, Veronica Ng and Angela Redai.
