On August 13, Willkie client MetLife, Inc. closed on its $750 million offering of 4.125% Senior Notes due 2042. Barclays Capital Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and UBS Securities LLC served as joint book-running managers for the offering. MetLife, Inc. is a leading global provider of insurance, annuities and employee benefit programs, serving 90 million customers. Through its subsidiaries and affiliates, MetLife holds leading market positions in the United States, Japan, Latin America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The deal was handled by partners John Schwolsky and Vladimir Nicenko and associates Benjamin Nixon and Greg LeSaint.
