Leading French financial publication Les Echos recognized Paris partner Daniel Payan as Best Lawyers’ 2012 selection for “Paris Private Equity Lawyer of the Year.” Mr. Payan is commended with this honor in the third edition of legal directory Best Lawyers in France. Only one lawyer in each practice area in each community is honored as “Lawyer of the Year.” Best Lawyers compiles its lists of outstanding attorneys by conducting exhaustive peer-review surveys in which leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers. “Lawyers of the Year” were selected because they “have earned a high level of respect among other leading lawyers in the same communities and the same practice areas for their abilities, their professionalism, and their integrity.”
Mr. Payan was also named France’s 2011 “Private Equity Lawyer of the Year” by Option Finance/Option Droit & Affaires.
