Firm secures long-term leases for clients Pinebridge Investments and Jones Apparel, Inc.
In two of the largest deals in the Manhattan office leasing market this year, Willkie recently secured long-term leases for clients Pinebridge Investments and Jones Apparel, Inc. Pinebridge entered into a 15-year lease of 111,700 square feet at 399 Park Avenue, in one of the premier office buildings in Manhattan. Jones extended and restructured its current lease at 1411 Broadway for over 400,000 square feet of space. Pinebridge is the former global investment arm of AIG, and Jones is a leading marketer and designer of apparel lines, including Nine West and Easy Spirit. Both deals were handled by partner Steven Klein, with assistance from associates Gary Litke and Daniel Backer on the Pinebridge lease and from Daniel Backer on the Jones lease.
